Acceptable Documents for Source of Funds

Instructions for acceptable proof of source of funds documents, including types, requirements, and details on necessary documentation.

Please note that the compliance team reserves the right to request any additional documents they may need.

To verify your source of funds, you can provide one of the following documents:

  1. Salary: Recent bank statement showing salary receipt or original payslip.

  2. Sales of Shares or Investments / Liquidation of Investment Portfolio / Bonds: Bank statement showing receipt of funds and investment company name or bond interest.

  3. Sale of Property: Copy of the contract of sale and bank statement showing sale proceeds.

  4. Inheritance: Deceased's will and bank statement showing received funds along with your current balance.

  5. Company Sale: Letter detailing company sale signed by a licensed solicitor or regulated accountant on letter-headed paper.

  6. Gift from Family Member or Close Relative: Donor's letter explaining the reason for the gift and the source of their wealth, along with certified identification documents from the donor.

  7. Lottery Winnings: Receipt of winnings and documentation, such as a bank statement showing the origin of the deposited funds.

  8. Divorce Settlement: Divorce settlement agreement and bank statement showing receipt of funds.

  9. Loan: Executed copy of the loan agreement and bank statement showing received funds along with your current balance.

  10. Mining: Ledger of the cryptocurrency mined, wallet address, and transaction hash for the delivered cryptocurrency.

Your source of funds document must meet the following requirements:

  • Upload an original photo or a PDF file of the documents; screenshots are not accepted.

  • All documents must be issued within the last 6 months and need to be in Latin international format.

  • The document must show your full name and address.

  • The document must show the name of the issuing entity and the date of issue.

  • The entire sheet of paper must be visible in the photo.
